The radiation claims are bunk. They died of hypothermia and avalanche. Not aliens.

If it is a true story I want to find out more about it

I remember watching the yeti explication on TV. You should've mentioned that they were in hiding positions.

It is a true story. There are about 4-5 books on Amazon (non-fiction.) The theory I foundmost interesting is the one that has to do with infrasound caused by a specific type of vortex occuring further north. The vortex may have resulted in severe barotrauma.

The phenomenon is called Karman's Vortex. And quoting one article on the book that has the more sound theories and doesn't eliminate other possibilities, "ests of infrasound on subjects have induced powerful feelings of nausea, panic, dread, chills, nervousness, raised heartbeat rate and breathing difficulties. Scientists believe the ridge below which the tent was located might have generated vortices producing audible and sub-audible infrasound on a windy night such as that of 1-2 February 1959. "

Ive done a lot of personal research on this incident and it facsinates me beyond belief. I want to know more than anything what truly happened. It freaks me the hell out not knowing if ill ever know.
