This pandemic has brought us all through a lot. Some of us have lost folks. Others haven't seen folks in ages. Dave highlighted the crucial role of women in hip-hop culture and commended the contributions of pioneers such as Debbie D. And Sherri. He introduced the upcoming Fresh and So Bold  symposium at Lincoln Center, which celebrates women in hip-hop and features panel discussions, vendors, and performances. Sherri and other participants underscored the significance of the event in recognizing the often-overlooked contributions of women in hip-hop culture. The team also discussed the need for greater acknowledgment of the early pioneers of the movement, including Dave, who had been overlooked in the narrative.
