Rising Alt R&B singer KeepVibesNear aka KVN drops new single, ‘Over Now’. Produced by Gwadalean and releasing via Melting Pot Music.

Blessed with an unmistakable voice, and a natural talent for creating dark & emotive leftfield R&B, Romford-born, London-based artist KeepVibesNear has cut a singular shape in the capital’s musical underbelly. Playing an integral role in the much-heralded Silhouettes Project, as well as racking up collaborations with FloFilz, Ray Lozano, BERWYN & Coops - his dulcet tones have seen him gain support from the likes of BBC Radio 1Xtra, Rinse FM, Worldwide FM, Trench, Notion and New Wave Mag. 

Returning with a matured, yet characteristically melancholic sound, his new single ‘Over Now’ tells a tale of heartbreak and closure, about finding peace in losing your significant other. Produced by London newcomer Gwadalean, who also added a verse of his own. The single is accompanied by a moody black & white music video, produced by Henry Croston and directed by KVN himself.

Raised in Romford with family ties in Nigeria, KVN is hoping his music can change the outdated narrative that men can’t show or feel the vast spectrum of emotions, good, bad and everything in between. With the theme of troubled love running through the river of KVN’s story he brings a refreshing vulnerability to his music. In a time when toxic masculinity is still so rife, he intends to make space for men to express themselves and open up. Citing the likes of Tyler The Creator, Andre 3000 and The Internet as key influences, KVN is the perfect combination of honesty and humour - an artist the UK music scene is truly craving.
