Trappin Out The Dorm Room is one of those phrases that stirs an immediate feeling of apprehension for any reader. For MC $crill, that apprehension was the daily life. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, this young intellectual is best described as East Atlanta's philanthropic gangsta. Naturally living through & studying the music that birthed the environment he knew as home, in 2012 MC $crill joined w/ business partner epxD.Shvgg(Dope Shagg) to form the label Free Life Entertainment.

Embodying the celebratory party culture of ATL’s nightlife, $crill, along with labelmates Shvgg and Drue, most recently credits their success to the Freedom Function. The Freedom Function is a monthly showcase of fresh, creative artistry paired with affordable drinks, edible treats, & them all-around good vibes.. This event has evolved into a noteworthy experience through collaborations with artists such as Yani Mo, The Letter M, Yung Baby Tate, Ace Apollo and Shellie Sweets, just to name a few.

 $crill is someone proud to say the 1st few times he spoke in front of a large audience was due to a calling at church where for his Easter speech he recited Christian-based poems for the congregation. In elementary school, $crill’s teachers noticed he naturally took a liking to poetry, so much they began to call home reporting him off task writing raps. Soon after, the 9 year old won his 1st school talent show, hosted by ATL Native Jazze Pha. After high school, balancing the new business of Free Life Entertainment while being a two-sport collegiate athlete was no easy tasks. The hunger & perseverance from this journey is heard on 6YF; Six Years of Free, specifically songs such as “3 Min Nap”, “Chevy Music”, & “yallcantsitatourtable”. Hard to tie to one specific genre, Snowman $crill expresses his love of living the Free Life through gangsta music.
