In Buddhism , enlightenment is synonymous with nirvana and liberation . 

Satori is a deep listening audiovisual event, fusing experimental music with visuals. DJs craft deep, carefully selected sets in clubs transformed into artistic audiophile dens. Accompanying the music is a visual installation featuring VJs operating multiple screens, creating a fully immersive experience.

Ambient Mix 2021 At Satori

Having impressed us so much when we last touched down at Berlin’s Hoppetosse we had to find out more about Ukrainian artist Travis. For a start, she is a System Error resident and this accolade does not come easy. Not excelling at just one genre, Travis combines a huge selection of sounds into a cohesive package. Not an easy task when moving at the speeds that she does. Being at home in the clubs of Berlin she regularly spins at all the major haunts as well as breaking out to the likes of Dimensions and Strikha Festival in her native Kyiv.

In a slight change from our normal podcast style we present something different but certainly with tones and elements of all the sounds that make up what we know and love. Travis melds all manner of bass music with lush soundscapes, increasing tempos and moods she works her magic with her break heavy sound palette. From more electro moments all the way up to drum and bass and electronica that is too obscure and breakneck to pigeonhole. Made to expand the mind this mix from Travis is most definitely one for the heads.

 Welcome to the Transmissions mix series, featuring sets recorded at our parties at FOLD. 

For our opening mix, we’re delighted to share a recent Steam Room session with the Bangkok-based selector and producer Sunju Hargun. 

For two hours, he delivered a masterclass of immersive, deep and psychedelic techno. And true to style, the set is a seamless flow of intricate rhythms and subtly shifting textures, shadowy grooves and pulsating basslines.  

This mix was mastered in the Area52 Studio.
