ElwOod came to enchant us with his new EP ¨Occult Messages¨ showcasing a captivating blend of forest and dark psychedelia. With a unique style that draws inspiration from the occult. Elwood´s journey in music has been marked by a commitment to exploring mystical and esoteric themes through sound.

OCCULT MESSAGES

The enchanting tale woven into the EP draws inspiration from a personal journey that unfolded between the realms of dreams, and reality. In a deep slumber and immersed in a rather eerie dream, I found myself walking along a dim path in a park adorned with benches. On one of those benches, I suddenly came across a greyish white owl. I was captivated by its presence, as its gaze was constantly focused on me. As I was approaching it, there was no trace of fear in its reaction, while I, on the other hand, was frightened by its stare.

In real-time, my little brother — OpeNmiNd Paul — was at his home, watching a documentary on supernatural phenomena. The documentary showcased the appearance of UFOs, as well as the ongoing abductions of people in a state of sleep paralysis. As the narrative unfolded, UFOs appeared in people's dreams, taking on the form of greyish white owls. The following day, I met up with my brother, being astounded as I was sharing the dream I had experienced. In turn, he informed me about the documentary he had watched, expressing how it had also filled him with fear.
Clearly, an indirect bond intertwined between us, as peculiar as it was meaningful… or could it have been a sign of a possible abduction?

This is a story based on true events that happened 10 years ago.
Through this story, the project “Synesthesis” was born in collaboration with OpeΝmiΝd Paul.

Haemogoblin is a dream that I had during 2010 when I was starting out in the London Psytrance scene as a punter. My dream then was to create music which told stories of the universe and made people orgasm (does not have to be in the literal sense) from listening to it. In time I learned to inscribe downloaded knowledge from the cosmos into my music. I aim to heal my listeners from whatever they might need healing from internally and also to learn myself to be a better human in this process.

Tangular is the psychedelic music project of Mrinal, originally from Bangalore, India. Having been exposed to a wide array of psytrance through underground gigs across various parts of South India and dark psychedelic trance festivals in Europe, the project Tangular was formed in 2018. The intention behind Tangular is to present a fresh take on contemporary psychedelic music through fast-paced melancholic psytrance. Fusing various forms of traditional and contemporary music with a particular affinity for metal, Tangular uses psychedelic trance to present an orchestral sonic experience allowing a listener to connect with unexplored parts of the self. Tangular has been deeply involved with Post-Modern Music, presenting several compilations that have featured musicians from across the world.

TANGENTS:
Tangents is the joint project of Shanta and Tangular, both curious sonic explorers with a vision to present a fresh hybrid style of psychedelic trance, the Post-Modern Music style, created through a delicate and eclectic blend of electronic and acoustic music forms. The project is conceptually derived from the geometric meaning of a tangent, a line through a pair of infinitely close points on the curve, and is representative of the intersection between our vision and expression.
