Liverpool-born but now making waves across the UK and beyond, Candidate has quickly carved out a name for himself with his signature hip-house-infused sound. Over the past 18 months, his standout releases on Hottrax, Nexup, Three Six Zero, and Belief have cemented his place in the underground scene, with his debut 'Bass Revolution' EP on Nexup reaching Number 1 on Beatport in just two days.

A force behind the decks as well as in the studio, Candidate has graced the stages of some of the UK’s most iconic venues, from Lab 11 and 93 Feet East to Depot Cardiff, while also featuring at sell-out events like Eastenderz and Flow. His talent has taken him beyond the UK, with standout performances in Italy, including a set at the renowned After Caposile.

Beyond his releases, Candidate has also been sharing his skills with the next generation of producers, dropping exclusive production tutorials on Josh Baker’s renowned platform, Syntho, as well as his own sample pack on Samplemarket. 

With a string of EPs and singles lined up for the rest of 2025, and continued support from industry heavyweights such as Jamie Jones, East End Dubs, ALISHA and Max Dean, Candidate is proving to be one to watch as one of the scene’s most exciting rising talents.

Saigon is a producer out of Liverpool. Having spent the last 4 years putting a string of releases out on labels such as Belief, Range, Dansu Discs, Resonance, Pitch, and Glasgow Underground to name a few, he looks forward to taking the next step in to the future with a whole host of singles and EPs due in the coming months. No stranger to the scene, he has supported some of the biggest acts in house music including Marco Carola, Pawsa, Chris Stussy, ANOTR, Josh Baker, Prunk, Sidney Charles and many more. Playing sets for Defected Records in Ibiza and having music supported at parties such as Music On, No Art, You&Me, Eastenderz, Warehouse Project and more, 2025 is looking promising for Saigon.
