The Draculas is what happens when two vampires meet vintage guitars, cheap basses, broken keyboards and 90's stuff.
We need to hear lo-fi sounds to survive, and if you see an inverted cross on a hearse across the streets, it could be us.

Vincenzo Mario Cristi (also known as Vinx in the alternative rock scene) is a music producer, songwriter, composer, sound engineer based in Rome, Italy. He has more than one thousand live shows on his back as singer / guitarist for the band Vanilla Sky, which allowed him to tour on a global scale and to have some of his works released both on a major and independent level (two albums on Universal Music and several records on indie labels). Some of his works appear in the mainstream video games "Guitar Hero 3 World Tour European Edition", and "The Sims 2".

His experience in the studio highlights the collaboration with legendary Blink 182 bass player "Mark Hoppus", Yellowcard and Pennywise producer Darian Randall, The Stereo and Let Go singer and producer Jamie Woolford, and many others.

In 2016 he opened his own independent record company, to continue the experience of the previously founded music production company and record label, The Alternative Factory, started in 2010 and closed in 2015.

Two music making, tea drinking, boys from the Shire…

I Manetti! nascono sul Lago di Como nel dicembre 2006.

Sono Andrea Maglia, chitarra e voce, Simon Pietro Scaccabarozzi alla chitarra e Claudio Palo (già nei Milaus) alla batteria.

Nel 2007 l'esordio per Subcasotto: 8 brani prevalentemente strumentali senza basso tra il post rock e il post punk.

Tanti live in giro l’Italia e all’estero (Olanda, Spagna, Francia e Svizzera). Nel 2010 si fermano per comporre e registrare il secondo album, sempre omonimo, prodotto da Andrea Maglia e Luigi Galmozzi per Sangue Disken.

“Manetti!” è composto da 11 tracce: 8 canzoni e 3 strumentali che introducono in organico l'uso della voce e il basso (registrato sul disco da Enrico Molteni dei Tre Allegri ragazzi Morti). Il disco si muove come l'ideale colonna sonora di una pellicola non ancora girata ma forse scritta nella mente di un qualsiasi ragazzo annoiato di qualsiasi provincia del mondo, tra indie rock, post rock desertico e sospensioni/accelerazioni psichedeliche quasi noise. I titoli di testa scoppiettanti ma venati di inquietudine di “Trainspotting” fanno il paio con la malinconia dei titoli di coda di “Loopstation”. In mezzo tanti rivolgimenti tematici ed emotivi, tra il road movie e il college movie, tra atmosfere da Sundance Festival e introspezione lacustre, con mandati a memoria tutti i miti musicali degli anni novanta ma non solo: Pavement, My Bloody Valentine, Cure, Smiths, Giardini di Mirò, Mogwai e molti altri tutti da scovare. Nulla di nuovo sotto il sole, solo un disco che fila liscio come l'olio e si fa ascoltare e riascoltare, con canzoni che ti rimangono in testa e il dito che, a metà strada, clicca sul tasto repeat del lettore iPod d'ordinanza. Il primo singolo estratto è “You and I and the Screaming Trees” promosso dal videoclip girato dal milanese Luca Merli ( già autore di video di Subsonica, Caparezza e Planet Funk per la http://block10.it/ ).
