Filipino-born British singer-songwriter Apostol unconsciously honed his vocals in his own humble stage, his bedroom and the acoustics of his bathroom through listening to a lot of legendary vocalists, the likes of Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, Janis Joplin, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Amy Winehouse, Adele, and many more. Eventually, hearing songs from these artists, Apostol found his own style and unique approach to expressing melodies and writing songs talking about hope, life experiences, love and overcoming challenges.
