'Jen a.k.a Flavours is a DJ based in Milton Keynes, England. It all started for her 17 years ago on a pair of 1210" Technics, mixing a variety of Drum and Bass and Hardcore.


She enjoys a variety of Drum and Bass- Jungle, Liquid, Tech, Deep, Dark, Minimal, and Old Skool. She’s inspired by producers and DJ’s such as Alix Perez, Break, Veak, Euphonique, Duoscience, Geostatic, Phat Playaz, Calibre, Payback and going back to her first days of mixing, DJ’s and Producers such as Clipz, DJ Hype, Andy C, Bladerunner, Mickey Finn, Kenny Ken, and Mampi Swift were the reason she fell in love with the genre.


She played at a few parties just before lockdown 2020, and had a set booked for Boomtown 2020 which was unfortunately cancelled. Since the rave scene went on ‘hold’ she was mixing non stop, and was offered a monthly slot on Different Drumz radio. It’s been a deeply emotional journey for her, battling with many challenges along the way; she’s truly found herself in music!


She believes music is something that brings people together, something that everyone has in common and can share globally. She believes it’s a healer like nothing else in the world. With her eclectic mix of different styles of Drum and Bass, she takes you on a journey through the genre, to showcase and spread the good vibes and sounds DnB has to offer. Radikal Guru - Earthwalker

UK veteran Seanie T links up with up with one of Jamaica's greatest cultural singers Chezidek on this big, broad and heavy ode to herbal medication. Featured on the "Ruff, Rugged & Smooth" album, the original is a hip hop flavoured reggae number produced by Hamburg's DJ Suro, and sings the praises of many people's favourite past time. Fans can't get enough, so here we give them more of it with 4 new remixes of the track, pushing the conscious lyrics and sweet vocals in different directions.

First up, boom bap badboy Bluntskull fires up the jeep beats for a 90s hip hop inspired neck snapper, whilst label boss Shepdog and Red Eye Hifi go a bit deeper for a bass heavy dancehall excursion. Next junglist newcomer Neekeetone steps up with an all out amen rinse out before reggae producer Spider J comes through with a classic one-drop style to take it back to its island roots.

Episode 26 - Vinyl Junkie - Eruption Radio Podcast - 18/08/2022 - Rachael EC Guestmix.

The first day of October was a nice crisp fall day in Athens, Ga despite earlier forecasts predicting lots of rain (my heart goes out to my Florida brothers and sisters who endured some brutal weather this week). I wanted to tap into this higher vibrational space by pulling some warm, analog, funky, heady music for this week's stream. Several classics made it into the mix alongside lots of dope new music. Some jazzy numbers at the beginning, then a fat dose of classic style chunky liquid funk DNB, some atmospheric jungle and some deep rollers in the second hour. It was a joyous feeling affair, hanging and shooting the sh*t with my LLL crew in the chat.

Next week I'll be out of town on Saturday, so I'll have to cancel LLL for that day. My plan is to make it up on Sunday Oct 9, which is my actual birthday. I'll make an announcement on the socials once I have some exact timing details to share.

Swindon, UK based DJ. 
Been mixing various genres of music since the mid 80’s. Started out on hip hop, soul and breaks. Played at various clubs and raves back in the early 90’s at the start of the rave scene. Got a residency at a major local nightclub @ The Brunel Rooms playing alongside the likes of Brian Gee, Micky Finn plus many others. 
Always had a box of vinyl in the car when driving around looking for illegal parties all over the West of England and enjoyed playing in some very strange venues, often in a marque tent in the middle of nowhere. Was always at some party every weekend for the golden years of the rave scene. It was an amazing time and the experiences from back then still translates musically into what I do now. It was great back then in so many ways, we manged to get things done without cell phones. Miss life without being glued to mobile devices!
Once I got into the early rave scene, it wasn’t long before labels like the infamous Good Looking Records, Reinforced Records, Movin’ Shadow and Metalheadz brought a whole new genre to life.
Over the years I’ve gravitated to the soulful and hip hop orientated drum n bass tracks and love the way that genre incorporates so many different elements into the various productions. 
I help moderate the UK based Different Drumz online radio station and have been playing on there since 2016. I have a fortnightly show on Saturday nights where you can check out fresh cuts of some of the best dnb out there.
I started a sister label to Criterion Records (vinyl only) who’s owned and ran by a close friend, Alex K hailing out of Athens. Kriterion Recordings (Digital Only) was launched back in 2018 and has just released its 21st release. This is very much a labour of love in support of the artists and for all the joy they have brought me over the years. I work hard to ensure the tracks I put on the label is something both the artist and I believe is the best of what they have at the time and suits the labels ethos of releasing quality music.
