 King Jak was born and bred in the south of Africa (Zambia) and came with his family to the UK to pursue a better life at the tender age of 9.
He has lived in various places including Archway,Holloway,Tufnell park & Tottenham as well as Kent which has allowed him to view and see so many different things and meet so many different people from all walks of life.
This melting pot of diverse cultures and lifestyles has contributed greatly into shaping him into the musician and unique individual he is today. This level of diversity is evident in his versatile and wide reaching musical content.
As well as a flourishing and every growing solo career he has also enjoyed great success with his former group Frontlinerz with songs such as urban uk classic and critically acclaimed singles “Down”, “Upfront” , “Stack More Money”  ft Gfrsh , “Cant Do it Like Me”, “Clockwork”, & “My Everything” ft Downside to name a few.
All mentioned videos and singles have enjoyed heavy rotation on the Uk’s premier urban music channel on Sky TV and 3 of them have enjoyed number one most requested video success for 3 -6 weeks as well as spins on Flava TV, MTV Base and radio play on stations such as BBC 1xtra & Choice FM.
King Jak  is so much more than a rapper but is a musician and great lyricst,singer/songwriter, video director and is also currently in the process of writing a fiction novel loosely based on true events.
Look out for the young gifted and talented individual as he is on a steady rise. His debut solo album  “Return Of The King” is due for full and digital release on iTunes and various other outlets by Autumn/Winter  2013 but until then look out for his EP called “Fresh Of The Runway”
