After I got so much sweet feedback on the first episode of MM’s Club Cuts, we’re jumping directly to the next one 🏎️

This track is somewhat special for me: Firstly, it’s a genre I rarely produce: a speed-garage tune with a massive reese bass. Secondly, it’s already quite old and has been on ice for a good year.

I started this tune in the summer of 2024, a period in my life when I was feeling pretty uprooted. I would spend my days in a studio in Offenbach, a nice and quiet place underneath a parkdeck where I was alone most of the time. For a whole month I stayed there while outside it was nothing but sunshine and 35+ degrees.

During that time, I was locked in: producing a whole sample pack, recording Latin percussion, having some friends from home come over, making a bunch of sketches, and doing a remix for @fletchy.boy None of my original tracks were really finished though, and when I came back to Berlin I was focussing on new projects.

Time passed and I almost forgot about the stuff I made back then, but while sorting through my hard drive I stumbled upon this again.
I was completely loving it, and it taught me that we tend to forget about all the cool things we’ve already created in our lives.
 Long story short: I reworked the drums, finished the arrangement and mix, and now I’m so happy to put it out as a memory of that weird time in a cool cave near my hometown.
