Another StoneAge piece i did in 1992 with my minimoog D.  Amber THMC gave me some ads von VHS  to make a showreel with.  They were really kind to me and gave me lots of feedback and suggestions. They gave me different types of brief, storyboard format, written ones, scribbled ones with a few key words etc.  It was a great learning curve and I appreciated it.

Layer 1.of 4.  Using Reason. I found some samples on Reason and decided to make a soundscape. I had been listening to someone's story about their Dad going to war and how he couldn't speak about what he'd really seen and experienced.   i  imagined a guy, back at home, maybe in some hospital recovering.  He felt he wanted to write things down, he pours a beer, has a smoke & he started typing.  He flicked the fan on, and just like the ceiling fan in Apocalypse Now, the memory of the rotor blades of the helicopters from his experiences, overwhelmed him and he drifted into his flashback.

Here the sub gives the undertow of constant waves of inner conflict of guilt over his past actions, from which he can't escape.
