Lately, I have been thinking about the musical elements of what I really loved as a kid and I had the idea of trying to combine those different elements into a track. The first song I remember ever listening to was by Aqua, as a kid, and I was really intoxicated by the Call-and-Response theme in their songs -- This chorus has it. I was reading about the history of origin for this technique and to my surprise, it was originated, and popularized during the Middle Ages between 5th and 15th century by carols (which now makes sense). I thought that was interesting. 
As I was doing some research on the history of #1 pop hit songs, I wanted to know if there is any correlations between each and every #1 pop song in the last 20 years; like what do they have in common? Almost approaching it as wanting to find the “secret recipe” of what makes a pop song a hit (not trying to get a #1 song here but I was intrigued). A huge percentage of those songs had something of a “spoken, hard hitting verse” and a sung chorus or vice versa; like polar opposites of lyric delivery … I thought that was also interesting. 

Anyways, this track definitely has the other different elements of what I like in a pop song (spoken word verses, deep autotunes in some parts, heavy flanger and feedback during the bridge, "telephone" effect intros, etc.)  but I'm too lazy to type it all out. This track has to be one of my favorites that I have done in a long time.
