Mike "Whyte Mic" Oliver is a Hip Hop/Spoken Word artist from Waldorf, Md. He grew up an hour away in Lexington Park, Md. Mike has been in the game for over a decade, writing songs for 9 years, poetry for 4 years, and also started writing his first book.
 
Mike started rapping and battling in the lunch room of his high school at age 14. He received attention for his lyrical gift which led him to learn more about the craft. As he searched deeper into the business side of music, he fell in love with the art and history.
 
Whyte Mic has a goal of not to only take his county or state by storm but the world. He also wants everyone to know who Mike Oliver is as a man. With his slogan, "I NEEDS MINE", Mike wants people to see that its not just a slogan but his lifestyle.
 
Now that he has perfected his style, Mike believes more fans will be able to relate to his lyrics. When asked about his lyrical content, his response was "I write serious songs to touch ones heart and stories that may be fictional but someone knows someone going through that very situation. Also party/club songs to keep you dancing and having a good time. And from the soft gentleman side of myself, I write about how to treat a woman."
 
Mike Oliver believes there is nothing that he cant do or talk about. His philosophy remains, whether its his song or not, he still hasn't written his best 16 bars. The best is yet to come from Whyte Mic.

Johnaa’ (pronounced Ja-nay), is a lyricist and songwriter whose style exemplifies her experiences in relation to everyday life seen from a female perspective.  Her theories and ideas about love, hope, struggles and pain are personified through her honest, rough-edged, metaphorical lyrics.  Johnaa’s other talents include playing the piano, writing, dancing, acting and modeling.
 
As a young girl, Johnaa’ always had a love for music.  Her dad, Paul Spruill, noticed his little girl’s gift and enrolled her in piano lessons.  But, her talents did not stop there.  She began writing songs and poetry about her life and the lives of others around her.  These talents combined make up the sounds and lyrics we hear within Johnaa’s music today.
 
Johnaa’s dad was very influential in her life.  He instilled the entrepreneurial spirit in her.  Along with her mom, Linda Spruill, both parents encouraged Johnaa’ to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.  Johnaa’ utilized the knowledge acquired in school coupled with the wisdom passed down by her parents to start PumpkinSeed Entertainment (PSE), LLC.
 
PSE is not only an entertainment company, but also a company that gives back to the community. Johnaa’s ultimate goal is to mentor young female artists. She wants to inspire them to pursue their goals, while staying true to themselves and being confident in their talents.  Johnaa’ does not have anything against other female artists out here today.  She wants to stay where she is comfortable:  in HER lane.   That’s what she plans to teach her future mentees.
 
Johnaa’ premiered the music video for her single, “Where U R”,  January 2013, and the follow up single, "Soul Mate", February 2013.
She recently released her first single from her EP, titled #SEXYCOOL.  She is working on her independent release EP, to be released in 2015.
