Better get your arse to Mars, I mean Athens. Greece must be the music Mecca of they world right now. This is a really tight funky trip with a fabulous overlaid ethnic synth groove. I'd love the hear a spare vocal added only because I think a human voice would add another dimension. But it's GREAT just as it is.

"Puppet" is the title track of Youthfire's debut EP release which will be released in November 2017.

Written, recorded and produced with Carmichael leading vocals, synths and electric guitar, ‘Puppet’ also features the emphatic strings of cellist Kathryn Mckee, and Jacob de Weger on synth bass in a sonic landscape mixed by Tristan Hoogland (Woodes, Mid Ayr, Ballpark Music) and mastered by Matthew Agoglia (Spoon, The Gorillaz, Arctic Monkeys) at The Ranch Mastering.

I play a mix of rock, pop, folk, and ambient sounds, combined with  my own style of vocal which is heavily dependent on lyrics, to create an atmospheric grunge style for lack of a better description. Sometimes my tracks are a little better produced when I can afford it.
