Aside from his background of growing up in Frankfurt and producing dozens of records for the label PCP in the 90’s, Miro Pajic nowadays makes unique and twisted dance tunes on labels like Magda’s Items & Things. Driven by enthusiasm and passion he returns to his raw Techno roots more frequently. His strictly-techno label and alter ego MSDMNR has reached No.4 in the catalogue with four intense tracks ready to tear up dance floors! His interpretation of what he calls „Berghain Techno“ starts of with the title track „Muscle“, a muscular peak time bomb built on a thick 808 and 909 foundation, alarm-y synth-lines, uplifting arrangement and a bassline to remember. „Wall“ is driven by a gritty 909 beat and eerie vibes drenched in alienating acid and low frequency hypnosis. Equally weird, „Immediate“ hits you with a punchy beat while sci-fi sequences and spaceship-synths flip the dance floor upside down and back. „Turbine“ is the last of dark and pounding pieces inside this release. The driven low tom and deep kick will hit sound systems hard and stimulate brains to ecstasy.

Lighting up the path towards trance-like daze and introspection, MSDMNR’s unapologetically raw and powerful blends have been supplying the most quality-driven channels ever since he's made his first steps into the game. Hot on the heels of his recent ‘Emergency’ EP for 30D Records, Miro strikes again with his newest solo effort, ‘Galaxy Warning’ - a quintet of laser-guided depth charges aimed at lifting you off to farther, stranger spheres and dimensions with a wave of glossed-up 909 kicks, spooky synth ostinatos and supple-kneed acid squelch.

Going in thick and fast, the title-track ‘Galaxy Warning’ punches in with a tuff’n’gritty melange of angular rhythm, octave-shifting cascades of distorted chimes and all-out bursts of percussive frenzy. Eerie to the core, MSDMNR’s sound dwells the grey-zone betwixt dubbed-out industrial and subaquatic 4/4 abstraction, which this EP invites us to explore under a new light. More straightforward an affair but equally jacking, ‘Inflator’ reels out automated sequences of gridlocked shuffle and hypnotising sonar-like machine talk - as emulated in the mind-bending ‘Analysis No.3’, tailored to whip up madness amongst the ravers with its never-ending tides of intertwined bleepin’ and bloopin’ chords and ominous drones straight out the ocean's darkest layers.

A true scorcher from the deep, ’Second Signal’ cranks up the heat a notch further with its abrasive batucada of steely drums, red-hot pistons waltz and binary organ melody. Quite clearly the most out-there dance floor-destroyer of the bunch, this one’s got warehouse tremor-inducer written all over it, and is sure to subjugate up to the most unwilling party head it may cross paths with. Topping things off on a weirder, more off-piste kind of experimental note, ‘Empirical’ finds MSDMNR at his most daring and inspiringly venturesome as he serves up a wild spiral of encrypted synth semantics, randomised rhythmic stunts and echo-chamber micro-sonic observation by way of gourmet afters.

Following on from their debut joint effort as Modern Doom, @tesstberlin and MSDMNR are back at it this summer with ‘Final Conspiracy’, a new six-track split that finds the pair delving further deep inside hypnosis-inducing sonic phrases and 909-infused rhythmic mantras. If you’re not familiar with TESST’s equally dynamic and texturally lavish musical multiverse, ‘Final Conspiracy’ makes for an ideal introduction. 

Calling the shots on the A side, TESST dishes out a trio of natural-born consciousness-shifters, primed for extended use in both fluid build-up climes and head-on peak time climaxes, square-shouldered enough to bring dancers to a trancey simmer bar after bar. ‘Exit Where’ gets the ball rolling on a weightless, levitational note, laying maximal emphasis on subtle groove modulations and minimal, though impactful melodic tweaks. An acid-soaked earworm that shall scramble the crowds’ navigational systems without further ado, ’Never-ending Hole’ moves fast and haunts long after the needle’s hit back stationary mode. Rounding off that side of the record, hi-pressure roller 'Final Test’ ushers us into a blazing furnace of bleeping hysteria and hi-NRG pound that’ll leave your cheeks red and bones bruised. 

Flip it over and here's MSDMNR ramming his way in badman style with the all-obliterating ‘Warped Arp’. Pulling out all the stops, it’s an evil hail of rattling echo'd drums and train-like chug that preps to pour over and take the dancefloor by storm. A further straightforward piece of athletic dub tech, ‘Disturbance’ is the epitome of a passive-aggressive powerhouse igniter, fully geared towards blowing the winds of rebellion and notching up the heat no matter the hour of the day. Draped in dark droney folds and stealth envelopes, EP closer ‘Conspiracy’ makes for the very strain of dubbed-out deadly rodeo that works its poisonous hex slow but steady. Even stronger together, TESST and MSDMNR capture a snapshot of their craft at its most boldly burning and earnestly charismatic throughout.
