Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a new VIL' track remixed by Psyk on 'Arketip Discs'.
VIL is known as a core member of the Portuguese outfit HAYES, and has released music on Ben Klock's Klockworks, Ben Sims' Hardgroove, Shlomi Aber's Be As One, and TWR72's Float amongst others. "The Reaction" has a shuffling and quirky rhythm with deep, floating chords and electric elements creating a unique vibe.
Psyk's impressive remix of "The Reaction" succeeds in expanding distinct electric fragments from the original into a tapestry of organic, modular soundscapes.

MSDMNR is the eponymous Berlin-based techno label from veteran artist Miro Pajic that has featured many of his own works as well as tracks and remixes by artists like Adriana Lopez, Krenzlin and PTTRNRCRRNT.

'NMBRS' is a 10-track compilation and each track here is proudly made by exclusively utilising 100% analogue hardware and sequencing.

MSDMNR supplies four solo cuts on 'NMBRS' and his back catalogue includes appearances on labels like TREMSIX, 30D Records, Illegal Alien Records, K S R, and Portugal's HAYES collective ran by Temudo, Nørbak and VIL.

Making her fifth appearance on the label to date, TESST also contributes two original works to this superb collection.

The production pair have also collaborated here as their Modern Doom moniker, which closes things out with another four tracks.

The 13th release of Dimi Angélis on his ANGLS labels just comes in the right time. In a moment where the urge for something raw and real never has been bigger, Dimi delivers four pounding tracks.

The A side of this EP consists of two tracks, “Shadowland” and its spatial nuances catch one right at the beginning with its lasso-like loops, who won't let go too easily as the track evolves. Highly dancefloor oriented is the track “Intergalactic”, with its mechanical noise attack, using the 909 to create suspense paired with punchy inductions.

On the B side one is encountered with “Crionics”, a track which transports into a deep sonic hole, an access to full immersion, giving both tension and resolution to the listener. The strength of “Ice Warrior” resonates through voltaic frequencies and is the abstract yet wholesome conclusion to this work of art.

Dimi Angélis is back with his signature sound set to stir up every floor from basements to warehouses.

With his first full-length EP on Token after a contribution to last year’s Fuga IV compilation, Nørbak proposes his unique take on movement and grain through the four tracks on ‘Sopro’. Constantly searching for new textural story telling, the Portuguese producer balances grit with technical depth.

‘Teste’ begins the record as the most minimal of the collection, setting a somber tone with percussive accents whipping through a cavernous atmosphere. Reminiscent of German style club music with booming kicks and resonating hits, Nørbak plays to his strengths by alternating through confronting sound design and imposing rhythmics. The title track ‘Sopro’ maintains the weight of its predecessor, however the focus shifts to the lead synth line. The Hayes member juggles through a hypnotic sequence, bending dissonant keys to ensure a funky swing while keeping things cool and collected. This stylistic hybrid segues perfectly into ‘Clima’, where Nørbak masterfully retreats into the mind for paced percussion over delirious ambiances in half-time. A slow rolling bassline pushes through the arrangement like a tidal wave with chanting snares egging it on, making ‘Clima’ almost ritualistic. The hypnotic touch completes ‘Sopro EP’ in a subtle way and leads into an epic of a closer with ‘Veneta’. Nørbak thickens the rhythmic section once again, with an accent on the high end, to shout far off notes describing a stretching landscape. These stuttering keys make for an intense ride supported by shaking hi hats all along the way, persistent through every transition. The record comes to a satisfying close with a meditative conclusion, an appropriate way to wrap up a sensorial adventure.
