An unmastered Blackbird remix from BluRum13. He said he put the mix together "with the global atrocities in mind. Using Ds' voice as a chorus' and added a hip hop flair to it using my favourite parts of the song, added some bottom and spit my lyrics, alluding to the racist perspective of so many in power, inspired by the Ferguson situation in the U.S".

Coco Bryce steps up for LORE 006, setting the vibe instantly with the effortlessly anthemic tones of ‘Come 2 U’. Subdued chords and etheric vocals are draped over playful breaks and 808s in deadly style, one those rare tracks that will lift any dancefloor throughout the night! Dead Man’s Chest makes an appearance on ‘True Rebellion’ fusing ruffcut sample choppage with Coco’s riffs & melodies to roll out a hazy recollection of the raves of yesteryear.

Side B continues the theme with ‘Beats Like This’, a neon saturated breakbeat workout of whirling melodies, hardcore riffs & b-boy vocal chops. ‘Like Normal Death’ revisits Yaïr’s instrumental hiphop roots, signing off the EP with soaring pads, heavenly vox and a laid back crunch.

Drum-n-bass whiz Dave Owen links with mates Calculon and Flaco for a 9 track free bootleg LP!

Dave Owen has carved a path for himself in dance music by combining great drum programing with timeless soul loops and legendary hip-hop samples that often includes slick dnb bootlegs of classic tunes.  Building off his reputation for some of the hottest bootlegs in the game, Dave has curated a 9 track free bootleg release by him and fellow producers Calculon and Flaco.  On Bootlegger's Delight Vol. 1, D.O. and company bring some the dopest jams of the last 20 years into the 170+ BPM range.  The LP is free to download, just go like the Rad Summer Facebook page!

With more support and upcoming co-laborations than can be mentioned, Dave Owen is quickly becoming one of the brightest stars in drum-n-bass; just go ask LTJ Bukem, Grooverider, Fabio or Bailey, whom all drop Dave’s tunes on the regular. The young producer’s style blends hip-hop and old soul samples w/ crisp drums to create a sound that is truly unique. Between a number of smaller releases, his 12″ on Influence and massive ‘Yo Girl’ forthcoming on Creative Source Dave has had a great response in the DnB charts and top 10s for the past few months.
