Alternative Frequencies | غيّر الموجة is a new bilingual podcast by the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies (LCPS), a Beirut-based independent and non-profit research organization working on a range of political, economic, and social issues. New episodes drop every Tuesday at 5pm Beirut-time.


Following the wave of mobilizations that erupted in Lebanon on October 17, and the overlapping crises the country is currently facing, LCPS identified a renewed interest, especially among the youth, in understanding the factors that led us here, as well as ways to move forward at a time when the future looks bleak.

As a center which has been working on policy change for over 30 years, this new platform is a way for us to communicate with the public and share the insights of experts, scholars and activists on a range of pressing questions. From the work of Parliament and government, to elections, economic reform, protests, youth, and sustainable development, this podcast tackles a breadth of issues that concern all those interested in Lebanon and its ongoing developments.
