Real World Records was founded by WOMAD and Peter Gabriel to provide talented artists from around the world with access to state-of-the-art recording facilities and audiences beyond their geographic region.

Launched in 1989, Real World Records has grown into a label of wide-ranging, world-class music from all corners of the globe.

Matt Small is a radio producer at the Associated Press in Washington, where he contributes both on-air and to the wire. Matt is recognized by colleagues and AP members for his clever and thoughtful use of technology to gather and disseminate news and information.

Peter co-founded the group Genesis in 1966 at school. He went on to make 7 albums with Genesis. He left in 1975, but returned to music a year later, since when he has made 11 solo albums. His film soundtrack works include Birdy (1984); The Last Temptation of Christ (1989); Rabbit Proof Fence (2002).
