Claiming the noted review of “ Maui’s Most Versatile Band “, Kanoa Kukaua founding member of Gomega started the group in 2001 with the vision of bringing different genres of music together.  As the group name implies,  Gomega or “ Go Big “, the group’s  philosophy is about “ Going Big ” with music and other passions in life.  Gomega is about taking fearless risks in music and creating a versatile signature sound with the acknowledgment of gratitude, humility, freedom, and the healing power of music. 
	Over the years, there has been a variety of members of Gomega, each being very talented on stage and behind the scenes.  Mostly recently, the members and the range of Gomega’s music has evolved into a cohesive, progressive sound that appeals to a diverse audience.
