In recent years there have been few places the DT team would rather be than in Amsterdam’s Trouw.  Initially intended as a temporary nightspot, the former newspaper factory quickly found a special place in our hearts as it offered one of the finest clubbing experiences in the world launching some of the Netherland’s most promising rising stars and it was with great sadness that we received the news that the club would be entering its final 12 months as of this January. 

One such talent to come out of the Amsterdam institution is resident and Life and Death label manager, Job Jobse who has quickly forged a reputation as one of the one to watch, winning plaudits from some of the scenes biggest names with Tale Of Us and the Innervisions camp already amongst his growing army of fans. Regularly showcasing his diverse musical knowledge, we can certainly see why he’s resident at one of the world's most respected clubs, as well as managing label of the moment, Life and Death, at such an early age.

So with these achievements in mind and  him being about to touch down in London on Saturday March 8th to play for new night We Concur at Crucifix Lane alongside Mano Le Tough, Clockwork and Mind Against, we thought that we’d secure the services of Job to with this exclusive mix for your listening pleasures. "The Drifter" is Mark Flynn, an Irish producer, dj and singer. He released his first solo work, the 'Lovers' EP, on Permanent Vacation in late 2012.
His own vocals on the EP caught the attention of some of his peers, resulting in him recording vocals for Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt, Jacob Korn, Slow Hands, Erdbeerschnitzel and Baikal. He runs the record label Maeve together with two of his close friends, Mano Le Tough and Baikal. All three share a similar passion for deep emotive music. The label has quickly become one to watch, releasing music from Baikal, and remixes from Ripperton and Dixon. 

It seems like 2014 is shaping up to be a big year for The Drifter, so we have pleasure in submitting the following podcast of the The Drifter. Cheers!
