Music is the universal language that speaks to our hearts and souls. It transcends borders and cultures, connecting us on a level that words cannot reach. Music has the power to evoke emotions, bring back memories, and create new ones, moving us in ways that nothing else can. It is truly a magical art form that unites us all.

As a composer, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, recording, and mixing guru, I am honored to share some original music with the SC community. There are so many talented and gifted artists on this platform! It's always inspiring to discover the different types of music and hidden gems one can stumble upon here. Personally, I enjoy mixing different genres and styles, so perhaps you'll find something here that you enjoy. I look forward to listening to your music too! Musician. Can't really sing but I do it anyway.

Songs from the edge of somewhere. A place that doesn’t announce itself. You step in and can’t tell if you’ve walked into a protest, a party, or the end of something.

Conil’s music comes from the blues and from the life that followed it. A voice marked by the places it’s been.

People heard it early.
Danny Thompson said, “You don’t sound like anyone else.”
Tchad Blake still plays Strange Part of the Country.
Peter Green walked into the studio one afternoon and cut a track.

The record didn’t arrive with noise. It surfaced—four stars in Q Magazine, a Blues Matters cover, a single reaching number three on the U.S. Alternative Radio Chart.

The early years were England. Then came New Orleans, New York, Berlin, the Himalayas, Kilimanjaro.

The second album is close now. Marc Ribot on guitar. Danny Thompson’s final sessions. Tchad Blake in Wales.

Some things reveal themselves only at the end.

With the aim of promoting more guitar based instrumentals, progressive rock styles, multi instrumentals, folk, classical, ambient and a wider mix of genre, Guitarists and their different sound and technique, enjoying their music and keeping the producers creativity alive.. here's to all the great musicians on Soundcloud that deserve more exposure and support.

Welcome and thanks for listening.. 

Composer of guitar instrumentals from Australia, producng music & film from the home studio in my spare time purely for enjoyment.

Inspired by some of the guitar greats & instrumental bands from the 60's and 70's era. 
I produce mostly original instrumental guitar tracks. a few covers & tributes, and involved in the odd collaboration.

In the spirit of the old Classic Soundcloud, please feel free to leave a comment or like.. would be greatly appreciated. In recent years it's been difficult to leave timeline comments possibly due to some AI issue, but i will certainly try to return by mutual interaction where possible.
