Né comme lui à Rodez, Lombre se rapproche de Pierre Soulages ainsi son noir devient lumineux et l’écriture de son parlé chanté tend de plus en plus vers la notion de beau.
Précis et touchant, cet artiste a rejoint la lumière récemment. Il n’hésite pas à confronter son style empreint de fraîcheur à des mélodies percutantes. Une instrumentation corrosive pour englober ce flot de paroles singulières. De tous ces ingrédients, il en sort une belle mixture. La noirceur saisissante de ses textes débouche sur une lueur et une note positive. Tout cela réuni fait de lui un authentique espoir du genre.
