The first official BLC EP comes from our Santa Cruz brother Swomp. He captured our hearts with his Charlesthefirst influenced sound design and production. He is one of the most talented artists we have had the pleasure of working with. Do not sleep on this man. Chameleon is a beautiful display of melodies and atmospheres that make you feel like you are getting lost in an ocean while scuba diving. We cannot say enough good stuff about Swomp.

Sometimes those things can feel like the biggest challenges. These gifts can feel welcomed, or overwhelming at times. The duality of reality is a constant, a fluxing pulse of quantum expression.

These systems create an immense network; a vibrant structure of unfathomable proportions. If you feel lost, or like a wiggly piece of nothing, understand that you are a piece of this macrocosm. This song is inspired by the sleeping pieces of Earth that are starting to wake up again and take form! Sacred organic material! Time to wake up!

Germinate

When it comes to visual art and music alike, sometimes I'll spend too much time sifting over the fine details. Sometimes that process will consume me for days, weeks, or months. This year I've been making a conscious effort to back off on getting myself into that headspace, and really allowing things to be more "imperfect", (perfection and imperfection are really weird concepts and mostly one in the same). That's not to say I'm not spending hours and hours on the art and music... more so, I am just allowing things to happen and being okay with it. Creating with intention, but allowing intuition to take the front seat, and intentionally embracing the raw nature of artistic "accidents" or products of flow states. I think it's been healthy, and I encourage you to share those things you've been holding onto. Set them free!
