Seminal UK label M​TA Records announce the launch of a new quarterly EP series to promote the very best in emerging talent.

Established in 2009 by C​hase & Status,​ MTA prides itself on achieving the highest levels of success whilst enabling their artists to fully realise their vision. For the past five years MTA Records have released some of the most important records in dance music from artists including N​ero, ​B​en Pearce, ​R​edlight, ​Kove a​nd Dimension.​ Having firmly established themselves as one of the most influential labels in electronic music, MTA now look to shine a light on artists whose music they feel deserves an audience.

To kick off the first instalment in the series, MTA will be releasing the Summer EP as a free download. Each compilation will be made up of a variety of tracks representing MTA’s commitment to exceptional music, regardless of genre.

Los Angeles-based DJ/producer Whiiite is no stranger to bass music. Having learned some of his production skills from his Downtown LA neighbor and dubstep pioneer Skrillex, Whiiite has developed a heavy sound of his own. Today, Whiiite graced us with a new bass tune titled "Gorilla Rock." The track pulls elements from electro house but is still packed with a hard hitting bassline perfect for festival and club crowds.

Force starts of this EP with his track Signal. Distorted electronic cries rise up from the driving bass-heavy rhythms. Jay Pace turns up the bass in Clod Hoppa, a rude and dirty work-out with sine bleeps playing off squealing sawtooth basslines. Acidizer captures the spirit of old school rave in his track Reshoot - surging acid lines, bubbling basslines and timeless percussion. Finally, new addition Judas Beast has cut a fiendish track titled I funked ya missus, locking chunky loops to killer riffs and creating perfect party music in the process.
