Dreams ep. 24: beats

Did the thought "Oh c'mon, don't stop! Just one more (insert suitable word here)" ever occur to you? I bet it did!

"5 more minutes and I'll be home for dinner" is perhaps the most common phrase for all of us in the good old childhood days filled with playing hide and seek, you're it! Oh captain, my captain or whatever games  you used to play in the street with your buddies.

Well, now we're grown up. The phrase has evolved a bit but it's still here, isn't it?

"One more cookie and I'm done!"
"Just another beer and I'll head home, it's past 3am already?!" Who are you kidding, though. We all know that the magic of a party occurs after 4.

Before you think that I'm some sort of a hedonistic animal, the phrase can have it's positive outcomes as well.

"One more day of no sweets and pastry and it will be a month!"
"Just a kilometer more and that's half a marathon right there!"

Well... good or bad, that's kinda how this episode came to be. While I was recording Roots, there was this voice at the back of my head that never shut up. "Aalright, one more track and that's it, unplug the headphones, switch off and just go to bed." Needless to say, that wasn't exactly what happened. Or I guess it did, only it was 10+ more tracks, not only one. I just couldn't stop. The beat didn't stop, there was just no stopping it.

Moral of the story, I guess, would be that it's good to have some boundaries. Moral number two would definitely be that every rule has it's exceptions. 

Well...this was one hell of an exception!
