Ilan Volkov — conductor and musician. Served as principal conductor of the Scottish BBC Orchestra and the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. Founder and artistic director of the Tectonics Festival, a world-renowned platform for new and experimental music that takes place every year in Glasgow, Athens and Tel Aviv and has previously also taken place in Reykjavik, New York and Melbourne.

Ohad Fishof – An artist who works in the fields of sound, dance, performance and visual art. Began his artistic path in the 1980s with the band נושאי המגבעת and has since developed a unique body of work of time-based idiosyncratic art, in a sequence that includes stabilizers, musical works, video works, place-dependent performances and dance works.

En suivant la piste de la pomme de terre, des chemins de traverse s’esquissent, se ramifient, convergent. Nous allons découvrir que le tubercule, anciennement appelé morelle tubéreuse, est aujourd'hui devenu la nouvelle pasionaria des luttes environnementales.

D'une écriture enjouée, ce documentaire propose une balade poétique et festive au travers de luttes en Belgique, où la patate est hissée au rang d'objet politique. On y croise des amateur·rices de pomme de terre, des paysan·nes, des penseur·euses, des militant·es, des activistes, des habitant·es de zones à défendre. La patate y est tantôt plantée, tantôt vendue et parfois même arrachée. Devenue emblématique, elle permet de s'immerger, le temps d'un documentaire, au sein de combats contemporains.
