As the entropy of the universe increases inexorably and order gives way to chaos, I try on a new stage of interconnectedness that humanity will be forced to enter very soon.

"ENTERTROPY" is the interplay of the timbres of the real sound world, mined with homemade sensors and sounds found on the vastness of the web, patterns of behavior of various physical systems, or mathematical models.

The intricate semantic web grows in complexity until it becomes a homogeneous structure, no longer delivering specific information but containing a variety of meanings within itself until the sound web reaches a certain level of entropy as it weaves.

Eventually, this blending of the tangible and the virtual, the analog and the digital, takes the form of danceable electronica. Each such experiment has an uncertain outcome even when the work on the track is finished.

After the incredible response to his first release on Orson, the track Mouth Lawson was favoured by Helena Hauff and Dj Stingray. He has seen releases on Mechatronica, NSA, Love Love, I Love Acid to name a few… dropping his live set at Glastonbury last year and and set to tour Europe in 2023….

Ben Pest returns back on to Orson with his fresh and forward thinking styles for this EP, show casing his versatility as a work class producer.

Dee Dee’s Picks proudly presents its 15th edition, spotlighting another key figure in the Romandy underground electronic scene and a founding member of CAF?, bringing a sense of coming full circle after the collective's feature a year ago.

Lukas Stocklin, aka GANJ, showcases through EXPTYII his signature raw energy and eclectic sound that he has been honing over the years. It serves as a rich continuation of his past work, while introducing something fresh and unmistakably his. The industrial grit remains, but the sound design has become more refined, seamlessly blending elements of rave, dubstep, and breakbeat.

The beauty of this release lies in its theme of spontaneous collaboration among friends. Featuring a lineup of artists, founders, and members from the CAF? collective – Renée Van Trier, Catherine Danger, VRVN, Wonky Ouija, PussyR, and OPA CITY with 28 Partner – EXPTYII offers a showcase of talent from the shores of the Léman lake These contributions aren’t mere features; they act as an organic extension of what CAF? has built around their lakeside world. Each artist adds their unique touch to GANJ’s minimal yet hard-hitting style, resulting in collaborations that feel natural and effortless.

Reflecting on GANJ’s talent for crafting atmospheres from simplicity is particularly evident in how the vocalists reinterpret the tracks and making them their own, while GANJ’s bass-driven sound keeps everything grounded. Each track captures a moment in time, infused with snapshots of intimate exchanges between close friends, crafted through live modulation and hands-on production. It evokes the energy of fog-filled clubs, where the smoke machine never stops and the sound systems are stacked so high they graze the ceiling, all while you're surrounded by your favourite people.

Our third vinyl release lands just before the close of the year and it is a special one. Petros Spatharos leads with a set of bangers distilling perfectly the sound of the label. Athens-based artist is widely known for his dark, immersive industrial sound, so yeah expect nothing less.

Side A starts with ”Datura”, layering heavy drums with dark reeses and syncopations - solid stuff. ”Xorkia” is an eyes-down track which will keep you in the zone with stellar percussion and atmosphere. ”Vultures” closes the first side with higher energy levels and more distinct breakbeat elements.

On Side B, Randstad remixes ”Datura” and pumps up the tempo to create a mind-bending industrial electro track with aggressive synths. Boris Barksdale wrap-ups the physical release by remixing ”Xorkia” and changing the core to techno while reworking percussion to create an industrial heavy-hitter track.

On top of this, ”Reformer” from Petros Spatharos has been added to the release as a digital bonus which you can download exclusively from our Bandcamp page.
