I met Corsa about one year into my Florida experience. We were playing a weird club (with an even weirder owner…Florida baby!)  in Daytona Beach. As the night was coming to a close, there was some unexpected time left so me and Joey decided to go B2B (3 for 3 like God intended) . Now when I go B2B with someone, I really throw it down. It's a battle right? I'm trying to make you regret ever djing (in a fun way if that makes sense) A few exchanges into our little battle I was like "HOLY SHIT This kid is keeping up with me!" Since that night, I think I talk to Joey at least once a day now. He's one of my favorite people in our little dnb community. As It turns out he's a lot of peoples favorite person. Just an all around great person. Always positive. Always willing to help. Always friendly. Gwan Joey! you're a diamond. ❤️💎

Some gave blood, others their pride. Some their humanity, and others their very souls. They threw pieces of themselves into the abyss, unflinching in their desperation, in their hunger for power, for purpose.

And in return, they were rewarded. The gift, whatever it was, began to seep into their veins, to infect their thoughts. Their desires were no longer mere cravings but demands, their wills no longer their own but instruments of something unseen, something vast and silent. They grew stronger, more cunning, more dangerous. They were no longer mere renegades—they were something new, something terrible.

At first, it was small. The subtle shifting of the wind when they walked, the odd sense that something unseen watched them from the dark corners of their lives. Then, as the days wore on, the changes became more pronounced. They felt the gift deep inside them, stirring in ways they couldn’t explain. A cold, pressing weight, like a hand on the back of their neck, guiding their steps. It spoke to them in riddles, shaping their thoughts, bending their wills to a cause they could not understand.

They followed, of course. For what choice did they have? Their sacrifice had been made, and now they were bound by something larger than themselves.

The master, as they came to think of it, was never seen. There were no voices, no faces, no forms to touch. But it was always there, pressing upon their minds, shaping their dreams, drawing their actions with invisible strings. The renegades knew only that they were no longer free. Not in the way they had once understood freedom.

They had become instruments of something vast and unknowable, their will no longer theirs but a tool for an unseen hand. In their quest for power, they had chained themselves to a master who cared nothing for them beyond their utility. The gift they had sought had come at a price—a price paid in their very essence, in the essence of who they had been.
