Templum welcomes Kansas City’s Uun to the roster. Known for what
Hardwax has dubbed “straight ahead techno juggernauts,” he takes it to
the next level here, infusing all four of the selections on this
record with futuristic punctuation and deep, alien texture.

The EP opens with “Xenon,” a hurtling percussive rocket ship through
the atmosphere of a techno Tatooine, greeted by the robotic chorus
“Welcome To Xenon,” oozing with pure sci-fi drama.

Next, he ushers in “The Iconocast”—cavernous, pulsating atmospheres
worming and snaking around a broken beat kick and sizzling hats.

“Red Pyramid” follows, an algebraic sequence conjuring visions of an
alien phalanx descending, a hypnotic and mind-bending ride for the
dance floor.

The droning and atmospheric “The Sycophant” closes things out, a ghost
ship tunneling through deep space, with a rolling and rattling
rhythmic engine.

For this month we have nobody less than Stephanie Sykes blessing us with her first mix of this year, of her favourite ambient and electro records. She gained international recognition, not only for her sets, but also for her productions on labels like Fullpanda and 47 in her repertoire. 
Stephanies energetic and strong character is reflected in her work, never submitting to a category, her style has a very defined identity. Time becomes irrelevant and Space gets a different meaning when dancers are drifting off, moving through hypnotic soundscapes and powerful rhythms on synced heartbeats.

Perhaps one of today's best kept techno secrets, Domenico Crisci is the kind of producer who doesn't bother putting out fillers for the sake of having a release out, as attested by the impeccable array of records he's delivered via the likes of L.I.E.S., Jealous God, Semantica, Opal Tapes and his own imprint, Summa Cum Laude. Up with a vengeance for our next round, the Italian wizard whips out a raging maelstrom of uptempo ruggedness, replete with brain-melting acid-drenched signals, all-out thunder kicks and gravity defying sub-bass moves. Hold on tight, grin and bear it.
