Charlie Le Mindu is, at his core, a multidisciplinary artist. Known for his boundary-pushing vision, he has collaborated with some of the most influential names in fashion and art, but his heart has always beat in rhythm with the music scene. He began his career with the French electro-punk band Kap Bambino, followed
by collaborations with the iconic Peaches, and has since continued to lend his iconoclast creative direction to artists like Doja Cat, TR/ST, Troye Sivan, Angèle, Lady Gaga, Cobrah, Yseult, and La Femme, blending roles as designer, artistic director, and visionary creative partner.
The taste of the stage is contagious for a natural performer, and Charlie’s long-standing work behind the scenes ignited a desire to jump from the shadows of the backstage into the public light. Years of amplifying other artists’ visions set the groundwork for his own sonic identity. To bring it to life, he joined forces with Raphaël, Romain, and Simon - three well established musicians of the French rock scene - to launch his first music project: MUCHAS PROBLEMAS.
Far from being just another music act, MUCHAS PROBLEMAS is a raw, unfiltered expression of Charlie’s life : seeking inspiration in his roots in show business, queer nightlife, and the emotional chaos that comes with both. His lyrics dive deep into personal history, touching on everything from vulnerability to provocation, always wrapped in unapologetic storytelling. MUCHAS PROBLEMAS is as much an artistic performance as it is
a musical experience, infused with the spirit of nightlife scenes from Berlin to Mexico, Paris to New York City, London to LA. The project fuses Charlie’s love of post-punk, industrial, and darkwave, spiked with techno grit and an unmistakable edge. The result? A soundscape that swings between catharsis, euphoria, and tragedy, but never without meaning. On stage, the show is a visceral explosion, a fascinating blend of vibrations.
