The mystery around her character shows through her music with deep, dark and distorted vocals providing a sense of chilling yet beautiful eeriness. As she steps up to provide this week's Slumber Session, let the Brighton-based singer and producer take you on a disturbing journey through time, space and sleep. Listen out for two exclusive tracks from the girl herself as you enter the out of body experiences of Gazelle Twin.

"The edge of the bed forms the platform. I am the station building. Spread-eagled over tracks. Inside me, brown tiles, carpeted waiting rooms, walls in beige gloss, green paper towels in dispensers. Geometry binds me. 

A presence is felt before the eyes have seen. A malign figure in a mass of clothes. I become a vase. My head, shoulders, hips and feet. All hollow. I must do everything to fight the gag instinct. I think of sun-baked clay. Then white, glowing, writhing eels slide together, multiplying, bending, oozing.

Flowers ablaze and a black hole engulfs everything. A great pull downwards, into a pit of crystals. Then daylight on a farm. Dwarfed by a vast silo and the buzzing sun."

"Descarga Pintoresca Y Cosas Chéveres" is an upbeat driven descarga track with psychedelic organs and keyboards.
Released 19th May 2014 on Demencia Tropical, the latest compilation on Galletas Calientes Records.

Romperayo is a musical journey through Colombian tropical folklore of the second half of the 20th century, a mischievous and modern interpretation of the up-tempo rhythms of “Descarga” and the psychedelic sounds of ’70s cumbia.
Even if you've never heard of Romperayo, you maybe know some of the musicians playing in the band: 
Romperayo was formed by the “capitán” of the new generation of Colombian percussionists: drummer Pedro Ojeda, who also plays in Los Pirañas, Palanca, CieloMama, Frente Cumbiero, Ondatrópica and Mucho Indio.  Eblis Alvarez (from the world-renowned Meridian Brothers and Los Pirañas)tweaks samplers and electronics, Ricardo Gallo plays the synths, and Juan Manuel Toro is on the electric bass.
