DJ Bust is now involved into deejaying for more than 15 years but his very first steps into music - as a bass guitar player - date back to the early 90’s. He bought his first turntables in 1995 and he since started to learn turntablist techniques : scratching, beat juggling and even composing his very first routines ...

He has sharped his skills by participating in numerous online battles (especially from Beat4Battle and Turntablism972 forums), so many opportunities for him to make contacts with DJ’s across Europe. Bolstered by these experiences, he took part in IDA and DMC belgian championships in 2010, 2011 and 2012, in both solo and team categories (as Phonographx), and won several vice-champion titles in Belgium.
He’s recording, scratching, composing and producing for many artists : Craig G, El Da Sensei and A.G. (alongside DJ Koss), Aral & Sauzé, Kaer (Starflam) or Finger Dan.

Former community worker, DJ Bust is also pretty involved alongside associations, schools and youth centers, offering training workshops for beginners DJ’s. With the Spray Can Arts association, he organised the « On The Ground » festival, a significant event in the Province de Liège region which was blendig every Hip Hop disciplines.
He’s Scratch teacher in A.K.D.T. School in Wallonia.

He’s working in Skillz Machine since 2016.

DJ Bust évolue dans le deejaying depuis plus de 15 ans mais ses premiers pas dans la musique - à la guitare basse - remontent au début des années 90. Ses premières platines, il se les procure en 1995 et plonge alors dans l’apprentissage des techniques de Scratch, de beat juggling et se frotte même à ses premières routines ...

Il aiguise ses talents en participant à de nombreuses battles sur le net (tout spécialement sur les forums Beat4Battle et Turntablism972), autant d’occasions d’échanger avec des DJ’s de toute l’Europe. Fort de ces expériences, il participe en 2010, 2011 et 2012 aux championnats IDA et DMC en Belgique, à la fois en équipe (Phonographx) et en solo, et obtient plusieurs titres de vice-champion de Belgique.
Il enregistre, scratche, compose et produit pour de nombreux artistes ; Dans le désordre citons Craig G, El Da Sensei et A.G. (aux cotés de DJ Koss), Aral & Sauzé, Kaer (Starflam) ou Finger Dan.

Animateur de formation, DJ Bust s’est également beaucoup investi auprès d’associations, Maisons de jeunes et établissements scolaires à travers des ateliers d’initiation aux platines. Aux cotés de l’asbl Spray Can Arts, ses efforts ont abouti à l’organisation du festival « On The Ground », événement majeur dans la province de Liège entremêlant toutes les disciplines Hip Hop.
Il est professeur de Scratch à l’A.K.D.T. de Wallonie.

Il a intégré Skillz Machine en 2016.
