You wouldn’t find pearls on the beach. If you really want a pearl you will have to dive for it. For over five years we’ve been browsing through boundless seas and branched forests to find powerful gems leaving a sharp impression while taking us on a journey. They infatuate, fascinate and delight the listeners falling in love with the works of art. What makes the quest most fun: the more unknown the artists, the more truthful the productions. After all, it is music that makes us do things we usually wouldn’t dare. It is a whirl we really like to jump into like a big and swinging web of silk and sorrow.

Following the first compilation – “A Collection of Unreleased Pearls” – is trndmsk’s second release this summer: 22 tracks by musicians, producers and composers dedicated to electronic music. @benn-finn, @braunbeck, @coss, @vogelperspektive, @emilberliner, @pierre-remy-hertzel & @thelatestson, @drivepitcher, @janhertz & @rocko-garoni feat. @deeryona, @jonassaalbach, @nikolasnoam, @raumakustik, @rene-bourgeois, @casanova_tony, @captain-illy-noize, @unfugsrumpelkammer, @whatevertunes & @cubus, @elfgrin-berlin feat. Perlen liegen nicht am Strand. Wenn du eine Perle begehrst, musst du dafür tauchen. Seit mehr als fünf Jahren tauchen wir in unendlichen Meeren, durchforsten verzweigte Wälder, um Musikstücke zu finden, die einen auf eine Reise mitnehmen und tief beeindrucken. Sie betören, faszinieren und entzücken ihre Hörer, die sich in diese Kunstwerke verlieben und sich in ihnen verlieren. Und das schönste an dieser Suche ist: je unbekannter die Künstler, desto mehr sprechen die Exemplare für sich. Die Musik ist es nämlich, die uns Dinge tun lässt, die wir uns sonst nicht wagen würden. Sie ist ein Wirbel und ein großes, schwingendes Netz aus Seide und Sorge, in das wir uns gerne fallen lassen.

Nach der ersten Compilation – “A Collection of Unreleased Pearls” – kommt passend zum Sommer die zweite Veröffentlichung von trndmsk raus: 22 Stücke von Musikern, Produzenten und Komponisten, die sich der elektronischen Musik verschrieben haben. With nearly a year after their lauded ‘The Tide’ EP, Wild Culture’s ‘Don’t Stop’ marks their fifth release on the label. Furthermore, last year also saw the duo getting tapped to remix ‘Lovebreak’, Tube & Berger’s seminal hit from 2013, and even saw their own productions getting reworked by the likes of Nico Pusch, David Jach and Purple Disco Machine – evidence that they are indeed key members of the Kittball family

Demonstrating their silky production skills and intuitive use of vocals in both tracks, ‘Don’t Stop’ combines a groovy bassline with warm pads and melodic background keys. Meanwhile, ‘Get Over’ brings in deep piano chords, poignant breakdowns and an infectious hook for a sure-fire dancefloor workout.

After last year’s European Summer smash ‘Canto Del Pilon’, German house giants MILK & SUGAR return with their addictive new single ‘Ready Or Not’, a call-back to their roots of funk, soul and disco music.

Whilst sampling the classic ‘Ready or Not Here I Come’, originally by The Delfonics but perhaps most known from The Fugees 1996 version, Milk and Sugar have taken the hook and transformed it into a sure fire summer anthem. Built on the foundations of a heavy bassline, a string and 70-Brass lick ‘Ready or Not’ is driven by the powerful voices of upcoming British R’n’B singer Taisa Bennet.

Working together for almost twos decades, Milk & Sugar have enjoyed great success as DJ's, producers and label owners and have been honoured with several golden records, as well as the German and Italian DJ Award. With their unique house sound, they have heated up the dance floors of the best festivals around the world such as DJ Magazine Top 10 clubs Pacha, Space and Amnesia in Ibiza, and Green Valley and Sirena in Brazil.
