Bringing together core members of the labels journey over the past decade, the 100th release is a powerful statement of where the label stands in 2025 - forward-thinking, dancefloor-driven, and relentlessly tuned into the sound of now and tomorrow. Dennis Ferrer steps up to transform a Girls of the Internet favourite on Classic, ‘Affirmations’ featuring Anelisa Lamola. With incoming shows at Defected’s new Pacha Ibiza residency, Mochakk’s Calling Festival and Dom Dolla’s residency at Hï Ibiza set for summer 2025, Dennis Ferrer continues to prove himself as one of the world’s premiere selectors. His status as a house innovator has been cemented through new ventures, including the launch of thriftshoppe with partner Olena Ferrer, and this highly anticipated label debut from an NYC legend heralds Classic’s 30th anniversary. Starting as a collaboration between Girls of the Internet’s Tom Kerridge and UK soul sensation Sophie Faith, ‘Affirmations’ was released in summer of 2023 prior to the collective’s full-length LP When I Was Lost, I Found Myself. Dennis Ferrer completely transforms ‘Affirmations’, taking Tom Kerridge’s emotive production and giving it undeniable synth bounce mixed with NYC grit, with Anelisa Lamola’s tender yet powerful vocals stretched and pulled to create rhythmic intricacies.

Joshwa makes a much-anticipated return to Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations this July with his irresistible two-tracker ‘Lost In Music’. Following the runaway success of 2023’s ‘Bass Go Boom’, which quickly became one of the year’s most played tracks, championed heavily by the likes of John Summit, Gorgon City, Fisher, MK, and BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, the two-tracker delivers two contrasting moods, serving up fresh heat from sunset to sunrise.

Leading the release, title track ‘Lost In Music’ reimagines a timeless disco classic through a contemporary house lens, delivering textured percussion, sparkling funk-laced synths, and an infectious groove that captures the euphoria of summer dancefloors. On the flip side, ‘High’ shifts to a moodier, club-focused sound, featuring deep bass rumbles and Joshwa’s trademark powerful, tension-filled breakdowns, propelled by a driving bassline built to move crowds.

Since breaking through in 2022 with major collaborations alongside Lee Foss, CID, and Martin Ikin, the UK DJ and producer has remained a dominant force on the global tech house circuit. Currently in the midst of a busy summer schedule, with performances lined up at the likes of Paradise and elrow, and backed by ongoing Beatport chart success, he adds to his recent Black Book Records heater ‘GDH’ with an impressive high-energy return to Hot Creations for his second outing.
