Mufflon 5 was a four piece alternative rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Signed to the Swedish indie label A West Side Fabrication the band released three full-length albums between 1993 and 1996. 1994 Mufflon 5 recorded a John Peel Session for BBC and had music videos played on MTV.s legendary alternative music show '120 Minutes'.

2003 two of Mufflon 5's original band members started playing music again together with some friends and over the years they wrote and recorded a couple of songs. These recordings were never released, but you can listen to them on this Soundcloud page. After some changes in the line-up the band continues as Great Hare
