Dinosaurs are famous for loving vinyl-only releases! The simple fact that the tracks will be available exceptionally for DJs who really master the craft makes the work reach a rarefied level, bringing back the magic aura of the good ol’ days when the artists had to spend hours and hours (sometimes days and days) choosing which records to take for a specific gig. 

The LP “È Festa, È Rythmē”, forthcoming on small but promising Italian label Noodles, is the first vinyl-only release of Rythmē, an acclaimed inclusive queer party based in Turin, and features four more-than-interesting cuts made with love by Marco Pizzini, Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo, Matteo Coffetti, and Barabbah, plus a stunning remix by the one & only Hard Ton (SXDNS176 as Wawashi Deejay).

Encompassing a wild ride of influences and moods, from Marco Pizzini’s punk attitude and Hard Ton’s luscious waterfall of synths on side A to Matteo Coffetti’s Indian touch and Barabbah’s sunny and techy bumper on side B, “È Festa, È Rythmē” is one of the must-have LPs of the year so far.

Premiered here, Hard Ton’s take of Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo’s theme, “The Side Effects Of Self Indulgence”, brings a generous handful of Hi-NRG to the compilation with a robust bassline wrapped in a profuse cosmic synth extravaganza. Dancing to it loud on a packed Rythmē must be an ultimate experience, ain’t it?

We’re thrilled to introduce a collaboration of a kind with Jennifer Cardini teaming up this time with the enigmatic and rising songwriter and producer Bozart, releasing his new track on Correspondant: the fresh and exciting ‘The Dark, The Light’. 

Between dark disco, new wave and italo house, Bozart blends the dark with the light, the uncanny synth and ghostly atmosphere with the ultra catchy and upbeat bassline. Adding Jennifer Cardini’s voice in an introspective spoken words is giving this track a really special aura.

Bozart ft. Jennifer Cardini - The Dark, The Light (edit)

Jorkes returns home with new EP 'Sodomy'. It comes with remixes from Chinaski and Man Power and artwork and photography by Daniel Rajcsanyi. 

German-born but Austria-based Jorkes has been riding high on a wave of creativity recently with notable outings on top labels Permanent Vacation and Live At Robert Johnson. They are the latest releases in a long line that mix up sensuous disco, rough-edged house music and plenty of culturally engaging sounds in between. As a result, she sits at the forefront of the underground as a DJ, promoter, producer and radio host who centers gender, queer and egalitarian issues in her work. 

Opener 'Sodomy' is a deep and steamy rhythm with whispered vocals drawing you into an intimate atmosphere. Acid lines rumble down low while blasts of synths add a stark counterpoint as the intensity grows and you find yourself riding on the crest of a rumbling techno wave. The brilliantly loose drums and percussion of 'Hotel Date' are overlaid with slick synth arps that encourage dancers to release their inner kinks. Guttural vocal sounds and dark wave vocals, the sound of spandex and lashings of acid all bring further life and energy to this sensual workout. The brilliant trio of originals closes with the loved-up 'Where Are You,' a deeper and more introspective track with synths radiating hope and happiness over romantic downtempo drums. 

'Hotel Date' gets remixed by Chinaski, a resident DJ at Robert Johnson and producer for labels like Running Back with a hooky synth sound that draws inspiration from his love of soundscapes and cinematography. He brings 80s synth vibes to his soaring and glistening future-retro disco workout. Man Power remixes 'Sodomy' and is one of the most versatile artists in the scene. The Me Me Me label head does it all from dark disco to raw techno on a tasteful range of outlets while playing the most cultured parties. Here he lays down heavy but rubbery drums that build the pressure with sensuous vocals and taught synth phrases driving home the groove.

Well we are back from our summer holidays with a new PREMIERE FROM PARDON MOI!!!! Its part of an EP which is set to be released this weekend in preparation for the Andrew Weatherall Convenanza Festival!!! 

A little bit of text about it:

Berlin based Pardon Moi, consisting of James Brook and Thomas Freudenthal, makes music that would fit perfect as a soundtrack for a ride in a Ferrari GTO convertible, or on a transatlantic flight on a Concorde. Unfortunately, vintage Ferraris are ridiculously expensive and Concords are taken out of flight but still, the music creates an air of luxury and decadence for you to fill your lungs and air with.,,Swiftly bursting into the electronic scene in 2016, the duo managed to release a couple of EPs and singles on Nein Records and Emerald & Doreen Recordings and then drew the attention of one of the most interesting and diverse European labels - Gothenburg based Höga Nord Records.,,Pardon Moi’s sound is warm, creative, uplifting and retro thanks to the use of analogue synthesisers. The musical direction is toward the future. A utopia built in a world where the 90s never happened. This is retro futuristic dance music, but the music doesn't stop with being only nostalgic but holds qualities that would make any actor within any scene of modern electronic dance music envy.'

Fontän have had the honour to be remixed by some of the most interesting names in electronic music: Red Axes, Timothy J. Fairplay, Khidja, Mythologen and Pardon Moi give their take on tracks from the duo’s latest release Fontän (Höga Nord Rekords, 2017). The music moves in the landscapes of Leftfield, Techno, House and New Wave.
The evolution of Fontän continues from the cold and barren landscapes of the Swedish west coast, through some of the deepest cave like studios in Europe, out on to the continental club scene.
