Joony's tasteful and soulful pop-rap - a sound he first crafted in his bedroom as a teenager in Silver Spring, Maryland - found an early audience on SoundCloud. But on 2022's Pretty in Black, that style is primed for a wider audience. Last year he also made his debut on the Billboard Hot 100, guesting on Brent Faiyaz's "FYTB." Joony's bite-sized songs are striking in their simplicity, as he rap-sings downcast hooks over beats built from simple parts: a warbled acoustic guitar here, an underwater Latin beat or ambient synth there.

Indie Pop singer/songwriter/producer based in and around New Brunswick, New Jersey, with a passion for creating art through music while touching on topics relating to the beauty- and hardships- found in the world, our bonds with others, and within ourselves. This discography can be considered a collection of personal diary entries, except each entry shares the purpose of relating to others through intimate lyrics, memorable melodies, and alluring chord progressions. The ultimate goal of these songs is to unravel facets of the human condition and reconstruct them, creating a short commentary on an experience or emotion that will reach others using the art of sound.
