This time her imprint absorb emit invites to venture into shadowy depths of Tale Of Disguise 1, the first V/A compilation on the label. It brings together ten visionary artists, each crafting soundscapes that teem with organic textures and arcane rhythms, steeped in mystery and nonetheless a skillful sound design. Fitting for dancefloor and for listening - here you will find Celtic war horns from Kincaid, deranged and gloomy lyrics from Birds and absolutely sheer and driving banger from Porter Brook just to name a few. A Strange Wedding kicks off the useless seconds catalog with 3 original tracks carefully produced and arranged to showcase his signature sound design at the cutting edge of futuristic techno-tribalism and minimalistic hi-fi trance.

First, Wormhole Breaker takes us on a journey through space and time, escaping furious psy-storms. Aqua Sourcing dives deep into space infrastructures, where resonating oily pipes made from an unknown alloy blend with the echoes of rusty excavating machinery drilling in search of precious liquid. Finally, Pressure comes as a restless ascending trip at full speed, reaching the climax of this hallucinatory journey through laminated space-time.

Wormhole Breaker re-emerges in two alternate realities, reshaped by Nadia Struiwigh and Patrick Russell. Nadia’s version is a mutating DnB roller designed to survive a hostile solar system, while Patrick’s distinctive rhythmic explorations make us swirl as if we were lost between those realities.

With their debut EP Brotherhood, the duo Blue Vision makes a strong entrance. At the crossroads of genres, they offer a palette of emotions as varied as the color itself: sometimes melancholic, sometimes cold, sometimes warm. Their sound blends textures from the '80s and 2000s with a sound design that feels undeniably modern.

Brotherhood opens the self-titled EP. Driven by a tight bassline and crisp electro percussion, the track carries clear new wave influences straight from the ’80s. Melancholic vocals and atmospheric pads pull us into a nostalgic mood, like a Blue Monday, so to speak.
