“anesthetic” is an uptempo, nostalgic shock. The atmospheric soundscape paints a blurry image of carefree little kids at the park—but this time around, you’re all grown up, in love, and high. The intro is built around a chopped-up cough, foreshadowing the motif of smoke and innocence lost. For fans of Lorde, Billie Eilish, and 2000s alt music.

Buffalo-born and bred songwriter and producer Lynz is releasing her second single of the year, ‘just wanna be yours’ on July 22nd. 

The GRAMMY Camp alumna, who released her self-produced debut album at 16, is now living in Los Angeles and has become a regular at all the cool LA pop gatherings and showcases, and is in the process of co-writing with artists she discovers for sync and future singles. 

‘just wanna be yours’ is a chill song with a dark, twisted romantic story a la The Weeknd that leans a little more indie than mainstream pop. 

Lynz co-mixed with Justin Hergett, known for his work with FINNEAS, Ashe, and Niall Horan, ‘just wanna be yours’ shows that Lynz is a force to be reckoned with as a writer and producer.

This collection of 8 carefully crafted tracks is a journey through deep textures, atmospheric tones, and pulsating rhythms. From delicate ambient whispers to hypnotic electronic beats, "Chromatic" explores the space between shadow and light, silence and resonance.
