'La Chorrera' based upon the McKenna brothers (Terence & Dennis) adventures and experiences in the Colombian Amazonas during 1971, depicted in Terence's book 'True Hallucinations' - an essential read for anybody interested in altered states of consciousness. Listening to 'La Chorrera' is like a memory down trippy lane, as the story turns, twists and progresses, there will be many illuminations and recalls. A wide variety of musical styles are incorporated inside each track - stories of contemporary psychedelia.

We hope you enjoy 'La Chorrera', a story that is over 50 years in the making and one that continues to evolve.

Greetings fellow Forest companions,

Up next in our sonic voyage is a various artists album titled ‘Feuille Morte’, compiled by Olivia Trausel aka Via.

From childhood, Via was exposed to music. Her father used to play bass and blues and her fascination with rhythms and effects began to grow during those early years. In 2008, she attended her first psytrance forest party and has been captivated by the music ever since.

In 2015, Via created the label Fleye Records with Vikkelsø, focusing on the night time brim of Psychedelic Trance. In 2018, she handed over the label to a mate and joined Muimina Sounds in the summer of 2022 as a label DJ – the concept of Feuille Morte began brewing shortly after.

The title Feuille Morte represents ‘Dead Leaf’. As autumn sets in and the trees that watch out for us goes to sleep and their leaves begin to fade, we would like to present you with these ice-cold nocturnal beats that comes in autumn colours. Via has focused on the Scandinavian-influenced funk of forest psy, carefully selecting tracks from talented musicians to bring this vision to life.

In Feuillemort’s embrace, hues ignite
Dancing in their crackling, a fiery glory.

Cooler winds whisper promises untold,
Feuillemort bounty, trésor colours.

With a career spanning decades, Retina.it known also for their pioneering QMen project with Rino Cerrone - helped ignite the original Napoli techno movement back in 1995. Their music has graced labels like Design Music (Marco Carola) and Conform (Gaetano Parisio), defining the city's signature raw, analog sound.

Domenico Crisci continues to carry that torch forward. With acclaimed releases on L.I.E.S., Jealous God (Silent Servant, Regis, James Ruskin), Semantica, and more, he remains one of the most uncompromising voices in modern techno.
