I tried to capture the concert feel in this mashup, hence the "live" noise at the beginning and end. This mashup includes most, though not all, artists from Winter Jam East 2017. I was not able to get a hold of any songs by Sarah Reeves or Newsong, for example. I also tried to mimic the order in which the bands actually played in concert.

Winter Jam 2017 Mashup

This song was different than other remixes I've done in the fact that I didn't have a deadline. Well, technically I missed the deadline before I even started! I found out about the remix contest after it had already ended, but since it was @Aviciiofficial, I really wanted to get the stems if I could, and it turns out I could! I actually finished it a while back, but with the holidays and all, I thought it would be better to wait till the new year to post the song (I also may have forgotten a few times 😉).

This is one of my calmer and more emotional remixes, and it's also one of my best so far, so I hope you enjoy it!

This was a fun song to remix. I'd never really done an alternative song before, so it was a bit different experience. The style and pattern of the song were based off of @matthewparker 's Adventure (Toxic Emotion Remix), with the bridge before the first verse and the length of the drops etc. I went for a more old-fashioned, classic sound, using filters like "AM Radio" and "Walkie-Talkie" on the vocals and keys, the glitches in the intro synth, and the simple beat in the drop. Of course, I did add a little 808 in the 2nd verse, so it wasn't totally retro. I've actually seen Welshly Arms in concert, so it was fun to remix a song by a band I knew. I worked way too fast on this song. One day I looked up and I was like, "I can't be done already?!" But I was, and I hope you enjoy listening!

I received the a Capellas for this song from @matthewparkermusic February 13th, the day before Valentine's Day, 2018. I did not know then that is was the day before the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. As soon as I heard about the school shooting, I knew my remix of Adventure would have to be in memory of the victims, and in honor of the survivors. This song is also dedicated to the first responders of the Parkland area; your service cannot be overlooked.

"Life is black and blue, Happy then it's Sad. Just call it an adventure then it ain't so bad." This is a moment when life is sad. But it's all part of this great Adventure called life.

The first seventeen seconds of the track are a moment of silence to honor the seventeen students and faculty who lost their lives Feb. 14, 2018.

Matthew Parker - Adventure (PRKLND RMX)

Since Lucid Dream is an EDM song to begin with, I didn't want my remix to be the same style. I started going for a chill rock vibe, but after that failed miserably, I was like, "Hey, the name of the album is 'Cinematic', what if I made my remix Cinematic?" Give it a listen, but remember, it's dangerous business walking out your front door.

Hey! Relicc here, excited to announce @mujq_mohrthanmusic 's latest project, a long time in the making (and not quite finished yet) inspired by LEGO BIONICLE!!! We're calling it "the Kohrakazi project"! The name came from MuJQ//MoHR's first two BIONICLEs, Kazi and the Kohrak-Kal. There will be six (or maybe seven) tracks on the EP in total, but I wanted to give everyone a teaser of what's coming in the (hopefully not too distant) future. Each track will be produced by a different member of the @mujq_mohrthanmusic family, in a different genre/style, and each one will be connected to a different BIONICLE character. The Kohrakazi project will be released as soon as all the tracks are finished, right here on Soundcloud!

Tahu (Solitary Passion Version) is a musical portrait of the Toa Tahu: master of Fire, and leader of the Toa Mata, and later the Toa Nuva. He can be a hot-head sometimes, letting his temper get the best of him. But he is fiercely loyal and protective of his fellow Toa, and his village, Ta-Koro. This song tries to invoke both of those qualities of Tahu's personality, both his anger and his fierce love. Hence, the subtitle of this single version: Solitary Passion.

The version of this track that ends up on the final EP may be different than the single version, and any suggestions, or criticisms will be considered for the final product, so please, comment!
