Gorje Hewek is to debut an EP on Watergate Records, brings a handful of talented collaborative partners in toe. 

The skilled DJ/producer first dropped heat on the label way back in 2016 when his track 'Turgoyakk' made with fellow Russian producer Izhevski featured on Matthias Meyer’s Watergate 20 mix. Since then, he’s gone on to become an entrenched member of the All Day I Dream collective, while building up his own label Shanti Radio Moscow. 

His generous maiden EP offering 'Life' is as expressive as you’d expect. Fellow Dreamer Lost Desert is a collaborative partner on all but one of the EP tracks and brings his sublime touch to the work. 'Fluminnese (Dub)' features rising Moscow duo Volen Sentir and is a sundrenched slice of house that twinkles with loads of warmth and positivity also features. 'No Line Can Be Found' was crafted with Nikolai Briar and is an uplifting union of swirling arpeggios, emotional strings and a heartfelt vocal that combines for a powerful finish. 'Ocean' sees the appearance of his vocal alter ego Marvin the Sun, and is a lilting soulful cut that begs to be played at sundown. 'Night Walk' is a beautiful yet functional cut, comprised of a tech backbone and lush chord sequence. 'Covered in White' is a transcendental slice of house driven by a terrific groove and melody line. A lively vocal-led 12” version of lead track 'Fluminnese' rounds out the pack.

Argentinean artist Ezequiel Arias has enjoyed a litany of successes across his now decade-long career. As a perennial staple in the sets of progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, the Cordoba resident has emerged as one of the genre’s elite producers in recent years. Anjunadeep, Odd One Out, Replug and Sudbeat have been recent vehicles for his groovy sounds, while his highly regarded DJ sets continue to see him grace some of world's trendiest venues and festivals. As a regular contributor to our series, Ezequiel has taken to editing and remixing iconic tracks from 16 Bit Lolitas, Active Child and most recently Sasha’s titanic take on Unkle’s ‘In A State’. Continuing to search for new pieces to put his elusive stamp on, Ezequiel took to editing Jody Barr’s ‘Accidental Lovers’ earlier this year. Famed for being selected to Sasha’s ‘LUZoSCURA’ project and featuring the vocals of Felicia Douglass, Ezequiel edited the emotive breakbeat piece into a slice of progressive house heaven. Now being championed by the genre's trendsetters, we’re happy to offer this edit as an exclusive free download to cap off the year in style. Enjoy.

Shane Mullin & Simon Kingston, collectively known as Mulljoy, have been involved in the Irish Club Scene since 2011 and are well known for their melody driven house & techno sound which sees them as regulars in Dublin's biggest clubs. 

The list of DJ’s who demand they warm up for them is illustrious... Guy J, Nick Warren, Patrice Baumel, Guy Gerber, topped by a recent career high -  Sasha & John Digweed at their sold out District 8 show.

Shane and Simon are also part of the 'Melodic' promotion team, serving up a monthly offering of the best progressive, melodic house & techno from the intimate setting of Tengu in Ireland’s capital.  Guests of late  include Guy J, Rosenfeld, Warren, Saiz, Khen and many more over the last 8 years.

Mulljoy are called upon to support the best our scene can offer, so asking them to feature in our Exclusive Series was an easy decision. We’ve danced to their sets many times, so we know that you’re in a safe pair of hands here. Mixed by Shane, we are proud to present our Exclusive Series (Episode Two) - Mulljoy!

He has a fine ability to fuse together Techno, Rave, Italo and Melodic House in his DJ Sets so we hope you enjoy this one as much as we did!

Following in the footsteps of some of history's most world changing musical duos, Lennon and McCartney, Kurt and Courtney, Irish festivals and rain, is Mulljoy, the Dublin-based DJ twosome of Simon "Killjoy" Kingston and Shane "Mull" Mullin, who through a common love of Discogs-trivia, the smell of vinyl and melody driven electronic music, became prominent on the Irish dance music scene in 2011.
Since their auspicious beginnings at monthly residency OurHouse in revered Dublin landmark, The Pod, the guys have been building a following all across Ireland while also spreading the Mulljoy brand throughout Europe with appearances in London, Berlin & Ibiza including regular slots at the hugely respected Kater Blau.
When they're not busy standing behind decks trying to look busy the guys also take time to make daisy chains, build sculptures of butterfly wings and pose for moody press shots. They also run a clubnight called Melodic, which has been pushing their famed melody driven styles of dance music since 2011 featuring guests such as Dominic Eulberg, DJ Tennis, Edu Imbernon, Guy J, Patrice Baumel, Adriatique,  and Francois K playing in some of the city's best loved venues like Twisted Pepper, The Button Factory, The Grand Social, Hangar and more recently Tengu.
Mulljoy have also featured heavily on the Irish festival scene, playing at fist-pumping convention, Life Festival, as well as Electric Picnic, Boxed Off, Forbidden Fruit's Tale of Us After Party, Barn Dance and a closing set at bespoke hippy love-in, Knockanstockan. 
Mulljoy have continue to be the go to guys in Dublin supporting some of the planet's biggest names in the Melodic House / Techno scene including – Sasha, Gui Boratto, Tale of Us, Deetron, Guy Gerber, Josh Wink and most recently Matrixxman.
This year Mulljoy will make their Labyrinth Open Croatia debut along side a stellar line-up aswell as confirmed festival appearances at Life Festival and boutique festival United in Music and Dance. 
As well as these FOMO-inducing shows the guys will also continue as Melodic residents where they'll be joined by top international guests as well as the best in Irish talent, continuing to provide their committed fanbase with quality, melody driven styles of electronic music that will make you fistpump a hole into the o-zone layer! Upcoming guests include Kater Blau boss Peter Schumann, Cristoph and Prog House Legend Nick Warren.
