Somewhere lurking under the last leaves on the ground, squirming and squelching with the mycelium and microorganisms, we find Timnahs sonic world tucked away in a sacred place. Taking inspiration from the natural world, she has solidified a name for herself as a purveyor of psychedelic rhythms and carefully curated cacophonies. As a resident at the renowned Elysia club in Basel, she has honed her skills further and expanded her sound into ambient and experimental territories. 

This edition of Unrush is a testament to Timnah's ear for the uncanny and sense for crafting a dynamic narrative. Solemn drones guide us like a soft breeze into the winter months, only interrupted by washes of organic textures and subtle electronics. We hope you enjoy this masterful mix from one of Switzerland's finest.

Doctrina Natura is a DJ Producer from Sevilla, Spain. This project was born at the end of 2017, with the need of experiment with introspective, organic, hypnotic music, a sound intimately linked to nature,  inspired by ethnic music and folklore. Doctrina Natura has released music on labels as Oslated, Deflection, Secuencias Temporales, Circular Limited, Agos and more.

Axis Alpha is a Czech DJ based in Prague. His creative work circles around underground electronic music from which it was the hypnotic techno that slowly began to take precedence over others. Delivering hypnotic and trippy grooves with atmospheric textures established him in Prague’s techno scene, playing in clubs like Ankali, Fuchs2 or Bike Jesus as well as numerous international bookings in Milan or Berlin. Since 2022 he is a part of Weltraum, Prague-based collective of friends enjoying deep, high-intensity techno music who love to play it together. In 2023 he teamed up with Nior to further enhance listener’s trippy experiences by regularly playing b2b together.

Madeleine 🪬 Inbetween adventurous and dreamy. Vibrant and warm. Her deep, immersive sets are crafted with the music production skills from studying sound-design and also from her event production involvement with Spektrum kolektiv.

This set is much different from what we are used to. It’s a blend of pulsating breaks, psychedelic downtempo and repetitively techno exploring fast and slow trippy rhythms.

Hailing from Argentina the Buenos Aires based producer Vladw delivered a one hour straight to the point set to us. Deep, powerful but gentle. Just as we like it.

Camu is next up on our Podcast series with a bewitching recording from last years Springkell gathering. The setting is a dim lit, softly furnished room of a Scottish rural estate with a fireplace gently crackling and whispering into the space. Everyone is quiet, sitting or laying still and diving into the sounds emanating from all four corners of the room, fully immersed in the ritual of communal listening 🐚

Camu is a Spanish born and based artist pulling at the deeper strings of ambient, drone and sound art informed electro-acoustic music. He is the co-founder of Madrid-based event space Especio Perpendicular that he co-runs with local group of fellow deep music enthusiats. Highly recommended for anyone in or visiting Madrid and looking for a night out of the ordinary 🌚✨

Charging headstrong into the cavernous spaces filled with drones, overheard field recordings, sounds hanging in earshot by the faintest thread, this journey is at the same time fragile and powerful. The dynamics flow with intent from barely audible to overwhelming, from fluid to abrasive, no stone left unturned in this microscopic survey of sound and emotion 🕯️
