This latest outing on Multi Culti is a powerhouse of tribal-inflected tracks, eyes-closed percussive spine shakers that provide deep bass therapy as they excite the mind with cinematic atmosphere. If that weren’t enough, cult hero Nicola Cruz returns the remix favour with his massive remix of Brujo Wayuu.

Santiago Niño a.k.a HERMETICS is a Buenos Aires based, Colombian producer that blends traditional folkloric elements with astoundingly immense sound design. His first releases under the ‘Hermetics’ moniker came in 2018 on the legendary R&S, followed by a remix for Nicola Cruz on the latin-american ZZK Records. In the summer of 2020 his single ‘’Escaping Samsara’’ was released on R&S Records, hitting the top 5 on Beatport’s techno chart. Last year’s ''High Strangeness EP'' on Scottish label Optimo Music garnered support from a wide-range of DJs and this EP looks set to crossover even further.

Just You And That Day

This project unites artists from two labels, Chinese based bié Records and Latin America based Shika Shika, separated by very contrasting cultures and thousands of kilometers but united by shared values and a shared musical vision.

Driven by values of creativity, borderless music and fairness for artists, both labels showcase artists that unite electronica with ambient and folk music, purposefully existing outside of the globalized, copy-paste of the mainstream music industry.

A mix of intrigue and mutual respect led to the birth of this compilation, with the two labels teaming up to match together a group of their artists to remix each other. The result is a widely imaginative, fresh and diverse selection of tracks featuring some of the prominent producers such as DaYe, Lim Giong; Hualun, Sun Dawei and Rainsoft from bié records and DJ Raff, Terror:Cactus, Numa Gama, Barrio Lindo and El Búho from Shika Shika.

The two anonymous masked musicians, both residents of the label Shouka, first met while celebrating Shouka's tenth anniversary. Unified by a shared musical vision, and yet representing two distinct cultures, they blend their work to bring together a fusion of genres: the unmistakable percussive bassy style of Nuri and the folk melodic richness of The Lazy Jesus.

The cover artwork has been crafted by Ukrainian illustrator Yevheniia Vynokurova, also known as Magister Of Magic, the mastermind behind The Lazy Jesus mesmerizing live animated visuals on his latest project UA TRIBAL.
