Forth - Cassette

Championed by the likes of Seth Troxler, Guy Gerber and Tiga, the former Footprintz member turned solo star has set his musical sights on the incense-filled Multi Culti chill-out room.

Following recent releases on Visionquest, Supplement Facts, Life & Death, and Turbo, Clarian continues a run of musically diverse, emotionally resonant songs with this three track EP. Ma Shiva stands out immediately in every way: it’s a mid-tempo pop ballad that takes as its refrain one of the most popular Hindu mantras. It’s a total one-off that has a certain familiarity to it without actually sounding quite like anything specific… except, oddly enough, maybe a dash of 80s-era Leonard Cohen in the phrasing of the verses. Open Your Eyes takes the tempo down even lower, into laid-back Talking Heads territory. Taking on such a wide range is an impressive feat, a show of great confidence from the young Montreal-based producer. It’s no wonder he’s been courted by some of the biggest names in the house scene as both a writer and producer. Rounding off these two languid anthems is Dystopia, a dragon-stick-juggling bazaar-ride of inner-exoticism. Progressive - even for progressive!

In remix support are the always-awesome Invisible Conga People, long overdue to release more original music. For the time being we’ll have to content ourselves with this epic, meandering acid dub rework of the title track.

An abandoned, unfinished dub of Client Liaison, back from when we were going to release them on Multi Culti. Fun fact: Duke Dumont also did a remix that never saw the light of day (or night). I gave up on this one because it was too 'white' and I couldn't imagine ever wanting to be seen playing it. Now's the time when you tell me I was wrong and crazy and it's actually making you groove away from your computer terminal and into the outback of your mind.
If this reaches 1 million plays I'll upload the vocal version.

2018 was without doubt Night Noise's strongest year to date and we hope that 2019 will be even better. As such we kick off the new year with an EP from Berlin/Barcelona based duo 'Señora' The duo are musical magpies taking inspiration from all around them, utilising pulsing electronics, animal calls, voices, cries, chants, howlings, bellowings, storms and stolen recordings to create musical joy. 

The EP features two original tracks 'Ritmo Casablanca' & 'Ugüaje Te - Tengo' which showcase the unique vibe the duo have when producing music. 

Remix wise we have brought in two of our favourite producers label mate 'Tulioxi' and the always excellent 'James Rod'. This is a beautifully diverse EP which showcases a wondrous array of talent and one that starts 2019 with real style.

Señora - Ritmo Casablanca

If you go 1500 km from Moscow in Siberia direction you wil find Orenburg, a city located in the vast steppes, where Serenades originate from. Started as a local music community Serenades became a hotspot involving dozens of international musicians and DJs with podcasts and parties. True aficionados of music which lay between ethnic and electronic, Serenades have created a real oasis in Russian snow.  In 2019 Serenades continue their story with the first ever release – a big & eclectic compilation where every track is exclusively produced for the label concept by musicians from all over the world.  Shamanic ambient, percussive drums, slow industrial beats from the compilation clearly represent Serenade’s taste in contemporary world music.
