The bus bounced as it rolled along the dusty road. The passengers looked out onto the lush green plains on the other side of the glass. Wildlife flourished for as fas as the eye could see. Tall giraffes marched proudly, their heads poking between the branches of leafy trees. Birds flew through the royal blue sky casting dim shadows back down to earth. It was a scene of majestic beauty and wonder. This was excursion Africanism and they were on tour.

Jose Manuel is set to release a new LP on Music For Dreams. Titled 'Excursion Africanism' the release spans across eleven tracks and soars through an array of spectacular percussion, melodic spirals and beyond.

During flow, attention is freely invested to achieve a person’s goals because there is no disorder to strengthen out or no threat for the self to defend against. When a person can organize his or her consciousness so as to experience flow as often as possible, the quality of life starts to improve.   In flow, we are in control of our psychic energy and everything we do adds order to consciousness. Following a flow experience, our self becomes more complex than that it had been before, due to two broad psychological processes – differentiation and integration. The self becomes differentiated as the person after a flow experience feels more capable and skilled. Flow leads to integration because thoughts, intentions, feelings and the senses are focused on the same goal. After a flow episode, one feels more together than before, not only internally but also with respect to other people and the world in general. Differentiation promotes individuality while integration facilitates connections and security.  To improve the quality of life, we can try to make external conditions match our goals and also change how to experience external conditions. Both are needed. Each by itself is insufficient.

Between sloth and rythmic frenesy, somnolence and awakeness, acoustic instruments, digital synthesis and home-recorded crushed samples, Alon(e)' second EP proposes a retrospective soundtrack of his childhish dreams.

Kalim & Marim is an EP about music, no big story behind it except passion for sound textures and audio travelling...
Recorded in 2019 and 2020, it includes many instruments, from many loops of Kalimba & Marimba (That gave the name to the EP), to guitars, bass guitars, percussions of all types, clarinet by Walass, random samples and synthesizers.

Da Iguana: 
«Glassy and woody textures are emphasized, recalling waters and forests, my favorite environments. For the funny story Leu Grouve was recorded on Walass’s studio, in a houseboat on La Garonne river in Bordeaux, France, really close to the water surface, hearing droplets and seagulls while the sun was setting. A magical moment we spent jamming with anything we could use in the small studio!! It’s also one of my first works going up in BPM throughout the track (from 85-86 to 100BPM).
Ambiantik is obviously an ambient track, cosy and organically textured, mixing ancient instruments from different parts of the world (ambient + antique).
Moa Tren will take you on an intercontinental aerial train, with mouth blown percussions and cloudy atmospheres.
At last Kalim & Marim is a swingy tune, super innocent, with a happy mood I am not so used too.»

The release incl two remixes from our beloved friends who added their recognizable sound — Ohxalá made Leu Grouve even more groove and dance, and MAUGLI give a deep slowly instrumental version of the Moa Tren.
