Contemporary singer Anna Clementi meets the Alien Alien.
Together they cross boundaries for a visionnaire timeless anthem: NO G.D.M., the cult song by German electro pioneer Gina X.
Originally released in 1979, it's a sublime portrait of the British dandy icon Quentin Crisp, one of the fathers of the queer culture.
Anna Clementi and Alien Alien dig to the heart of voodoo: summoning, obsession, hypnosis, slow ritual dance. With an unpredicted twist, which leads the scene to another level.
The dub version by Hugo Sanchez leads the track even more towards the essence of funk: obscure tribal percussions, revealing a noir soul.

Swirling vocals and psyched out guitars melt into chuggy acid beats and effects. Coyote up the tempo a touch and strip back the whole track on their remix. Dubby vocal samples and muted guitar groove along to an acidic finale. The second remix is a real thing of beauty from Mushrooms Project. Keeping the same slow tempo and adding space and texture with mellow guitars and extra sitar. A subtlely developing tribal workout. Groovy man.
